How are charter costs determined?

For day charters, we provide an accurate rate based on the duration of the rental and the cruising area. For long-term charters, an additional 35% Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) will be applied to cover expenses such as fuel, food, and other provisions.

What are the payment terms for a yacht charter?

To secure your reservation, we require a 50% deposit of the total price. The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 24 hours before departure.

What is included and what is not included in the charter rate?

The charter rate includes ice, soft drinks, water, and water toys (if available on the yacht), as well as idle-speed fuel. For any additional services, such as catering or special arrangements, we are happy to assist.

Am I covered by insurance?

No, guests are not covered by the charter’s insurance. You will be required to sign a Waiver of Liability prior to the charter.

How can I pay for my yacht charter?

Yacht Me Charters accepts all major credit cards, as well as payments via Zelle, ACH, and wire transfer.

Do I need to sign a charter agreement?

What additional costs should I consider?

What is the cancellation policy?

How many guests can be on board?

What should I bring to my yacht charter?

We suggest bringing sunglasses, swimwear, and any other personal items to ensure an enjoyable experience on board.

Can I bring pets on the yacht?

We are pet-friendly; however, not all yachts allow pets. Let us know in advance, and we’ll find the best vessel for you and your furry friend.

What happens in the event of bad weather?

In case of bad weather, we will either navigate to a better area or reschedule your charter to a different date.

Is Wi-Fi available on board?

Most of our yachts are equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to stream your music through our sound system.

Can I smoke on the yacht?

Smoking is generally allowed on the swim platform, but some yachts have a no-smoking policy. Please inquire in advance.

Should I tip the crew?

Yes, it is customary to tip the crew 20% of the charter price if you enjoyed your experience.

Can I bring my own food on board?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food. Please avoid glass containers and liquids that may stain the yacht’s interior.

How can I provision the yacht for my charter?

You can either handle the provisioning yourself or allow us to assist with your provisioning needs.

What water sports are available?

Water sports depend on the specific vessel you choose. Each yacht offers different water toys and activities.

How do I hire a captain?

After booking, Yacht Me Charters will provide you with a confirmation email containing a contract and a list of vetted captains/operators familiar with our yachts. You may choose one from our list or submit your own captain for approval prior to your charter.
